There are a lot of editions of Traveller out there to choose from.
I’m going to start by reading the very first edition, which was just “Traveller” when it was released but is now referred to as “Classic Traveller.”
If you want to get a print or PDF copy of Classic Traveller you have a few options:
- Classic Traveller Facsimile Edition is available from DriveThruRPG – the PDF is free and the print-on-demand hardcopy is only $9 US. This is where I’ll start.
- The Traveller Book contains the same content plus some overview material about how to play a role-playing game and two introductory adventures.
- Marc Miller, creator of Traveller, sells PDFs of all the GDW Traveller materials on CD-ROM or USB driver via farfuture.net.
The current version of Traveller is Mongoose Traveller, 2nd edition, available from the Mongoose Publishing website or from your favourite friendly local game store.
